Agree with you Ah Beng...Strawberrynet just sent emails out to Australian customers saying they are taking legal action over TT story. I have had over 10 orders with them & have found them to be super cheap with great service. How many retailers can you find nowdays that meet that criteria!?!

I have been a customer of Strawberrynet for several years and will continue to be, I don't watch TT as I find the stories to be utter crap and as in this case mostly unfounded.

I have also used strawberrynet.com for over a year and have never had problems. And will continue using them. There is absolutely nothing fake about the various products I buy (clarins, lancome, laura mercier) and they're always in the exact packaging that you would find at a store, except that it's delivered free to your door (registered post) within a few days. and really, why would we believe anything on Today Tonight????????

At the end of the day, ahbeng has not had any bad experiences with Strawberrynet so he will continue buying from them. Of course, ahbeng will dutifully report any wrong doing when and if it happens!

sylvia, ahbeng reckons Australian retailers better start finding new ways to increase their sales. Either they should haggle with their distributers to get better pricing, or they must find some ways to add value to what they sell because no longer will we be content with paying recommended retail prices.

Oh my God! I cannot believe what TT said about my absolute favourite online retailer. I didn't get to watch that episode but was Naomi Robson the one who bought the products and had allergies or did she interview some woman who did? I've bought from Strawberrynet 34 times and each time = pure delight! That stupid F**K-brick needs to shove a microphone in her mouth til it comes out through her ass. I have always benn satisfied with the products I have recieved except one time. I bought a Burburry parfume to my mother and she asked me several times if it was fake since it smelled really strange compared to her old parfumes from Burburry .

I e-mailed SN and asked them about what they had to say about TT and also from where they buy the products they sell on their website. All I got was a standardized answer about their policies that I have seen some other people get in different forums. They did NOT answer my questions though and when I asked them again they didn´t answer my e-mail.

I found some interesting comments at www.dealtime.com about how SN have dealt with customers who had problems with their orders and with the quality about the products. I feel that something must be wrong when I company don´t really send you the right answer at your questions, if they even answers you.

A colleague of mine recommended strawberrynet to me and initially I was thrilled that I could get my skincare products at a cheaper rate.
This was all fine and dandy until I read another epinion user's review about her run in with strawberrynet about them selling expired goods. Needless to say, I quickly submitted all the batch numbers of the 6 products I had purchased in the last 3 months to the manufacturers (namely Lancome, Dior and Estee Lauder).
After Lancome and Dior came back to me, I found out that of the 6 goods I purchased from strawberrynet, TWO of them were expired! The Dior product was more than 30 months old!!! I was NOT happy. The Lancome product is also out of date.
It has been now a month since I've contacted strawberrynet and so far I am not impressed by how they are dealing with the matter.
They responded to my first email by requesting for the batch numbers which I supplied them with. I then had to wait for 2 weeks and still did not get any response from them. So, I mailed them again requesting for an update only to be told that the batch numbers I supplied them were not expiry dates. DUH! Of course they're not! You NEED TO SEND THEM TO THE MANUFACTURERS to get the expiry dates! How can a large retailer like strawberrynet not know this?? What I don't get is that THEY requested for the batch numbers and then THEY turn around and tell me they're not expiry dates.
I am EXTREMELY disappointed with strawberrynet and do not intend to purchase anything from them again if I run the risk of getting expired goods from them. I would rather pay a premium and get fresh goods over the counter.
This happened to my colleague as well who happened to order the same Dior product as I did.
If you insist on getting your skincare supplies from strawberrynet, remember to ALWAYS check the expiry dates by submitting the batch codes to the manufacturer.
All I can say about them in a nutshell is their "100% guaranteed freshness" claim is just plain BS.

I received a .5 oz bottle of Opium Parfum (not Eau de Parfum) from StrawberryNet. On their site they state that packaging may look different from what we usually get here in the USA. It turns out that the Perfume inside the bottle is BOGUS. I have the remainder of my previous bottle of Opium (only 6 months old) side by side with the new one and they smell NOTHING ALIKE. I've been wearing this product for over 20 years and I know the fragrance well. For the relatively tiny savings for which I'd hoped by buying from StrawberryNet, I have actually thrown away $148. I will try to fight it with the credit card company. Strawberrynet sent me the same form letter three times regarding returns. They don't read any letter you send. I had written and explained that I HAD to open the bottle to know that the product was a FAKE, and they keep responding that they will be happy to accept my return as long as it isn't opened. THIEVES!!!!!!!!!!! Do not use this company, unless you don't care if your perfume is dollar store merchandise costing department store prices.

Bought Canali fragrance for men and it smelled awful. I brought it to a local US retailer and they said it was from the first lot made in 2005. Much have been sitting in a hot warehouse exposed to sun. The same fragrance at the store smelled far superior. I emailed Straberrynet Online and they ingnore my email for two weeks. Not so happy with them! Moreover they are a foreign site, so those of us in the United States should stay away. Buying fragrances online is risky and I recommend Scentiments.com. They have been great to deal with.

I ordered an item in mid September it arrived today with a £7.95 fee payable on receiving item. I had a query and emailed them 7 times - i have still not received a reply. They took for the item twice - needless to say I wont get my money back. I would NEVER use them again. rip off.

What do you guys say about this???

Ordered a bottle of Issey Miyake L'Eau Bleue D'Issey from them a year ago. Smelled awful....like catpiss or something.
Hong Kong is the home of fakes so I guess I shouldnt be that surprised.....

Annabelle, thanks for your comment. The only time ahbeng has bought frangrance from Strawberrynet was when Armani BlackCode was just released, so ahbeng had no problems.

Perhaps everyone should shy away from buying frangrances from Strawberrynet... the packaging for them rarely change so you can't tell the difference between a 3 yr old and 1 yr old.

Kotten, ahbeng will still buy other stuff as he has not been stung before by them. But ahbeng feels your pain. A long time ago, before the Internet came about, ahbeng was still in uni (he's not that old lah) and bought a Issey Miyake frangrance from David Jones in the city. It was a special package where they gave a bunch of samples all in a nice plastic case (ahbeng still has this case and uses it to store cotton pads).

When ahbeng got home, he was surprised to find the frangrance smelt like alcohol. ahbeng brought it back to DJs, and only after spending 30 minutes arguing and refusing to leave did they agree to exchange it. They thought ahbeng was making things up, and they said ahbeng could only get a totally differnet fragrance.

This was in the mid 90s, and probably by now every store has learnt how to store their goods, so it's probably not so much an issue anymore. Nevertheless, ahbeng felt he had to tell his story.

Was reading the above comments - I've made several orders to strawberrynet - the only concern I have is that if you check all the products carefully you can see that they have been opened and carefully resealed - I have a moschino with bath pearls in front of me now and the original sealing across the top has been resealed with sellotape - also a another perfume I saw had been opened from the bottom and resealed with glue - also I have had an Estee Lauder travel set sent and this had a small hole in the sealed plastic bag containing the mini make up - the hole was just big enough to remove the makeup - I have emailed the company and await their reply. Will let you know

Yes, I will agree. They carefully seal the item back thinking we don't know. did you get an answer finally. I am so into SN but then it just disappoint me i wonder should I buy their facial products again? i got a prod the manu date is dec 2004 now is 2007.. so long ago liao.. Expired.. sighz... I have placed around 50 orders from SN (that is about 300 products i have bought from them), and never ever received a fake. The one time i was dissapointed with a product (it wasnt there fault, i didnt like the color) they offered a full refund if i post item back.

I hate TT and shows like that, because they make money and publicity often at the expense of innocent people, espcially relgious groups.

WHen they have not enough stories to put on, they just make crap up and put it up. They are bad people.

last month, i bought dior make up product which is the first time i buy things from SN. and the minute i used it, i know it is a fake one. i would never buy from them again. they can be so cheap because their product are fake. very disappointed in them.so, please beware to buy from SN.

I ordered couple bare escentuals mineral makeup from SN nearly 10 days ago and was supposed to get them within 4-6 days registered mail but not seen anything arrive and when put their tracking number in it says no trace of number. So starting to get worried. Has anyone else had probs not receiving.

later I received my stuff, had to pay nearly half the purchase price of customs, and my Lancome moisturizer was off, very old and most diffently been open or returned at a retail store. Other people I know have had the same experience.Rather buy retail!! Safer!!

I live in the UK. I ordered stuff from StrawberryNet. It still had not arrived 2 weeks later. They do not answer e-mails. Now I have been asked to pay $50 customs for goods worth $100. I will not be using them again
