Annabelle, thanks for your comment. The only time ahbeng has bought frangrance from Strawberrynet was when Armani BlackCode was just released, so ahbeng had no problems.

Perhaps everyone should shy away from buying frangrances from Strawberrynet... the packaging for them rarely change so you can't tell the difference between a 3 yr old and 1 yr old.

Kotten, ahbeng will still buy other stuff as he has not been stung before by them. But ahbeng feels your pain. A long time ago, before the Internet came about, ahbeng was still in uni (he's not that old lah) and bought a Issey Miyake frangrance from David Jones in the city. It was a special package where they gave a bunch of samples all in a nice plastic case (ahbeng still has this case and uses it to store cotton pads).

When ahbeng got home, he was surprised to find the frangrance smelt like alcohol. ahbeng brought it back to DJs, and only after spending 30 minutes arguing and refusing to leave did they agree to exchange it. They thought ahbeng was making things up, and they said ahbeng could only get a totally differnet fragrance.

This was in the mid 90s, and probably by now every store has learnt how to store their goods, so it's probably not so much an issue anymore. Nevertheless, ahbeng felt he had to tell his story.
