Strawberrynet Sells Fakes!

Stop the press! Ah Beng's favorite online skincare/cosmetic retailer has been accused of selling fake goods!

Today Tonight did a report on the whole thing. Apparently, this chow ang moh woman bought $800 worth of Dermalogica stuff from them last year and got all sorts of allergies. TT said the offending online retailer was Strawberrynet.com.

TT then interviewed other "experts" who said that alot of online retailers either sell watered down, fake or expired goods. They even interviewed a representative from Dermalogica.

Ah Beng has bought stuff from Strawberrynet.com for years, and have had no problems with them. Ah Beng has bought a range of products from different brands, including Shiseido, Murad etc. Strawberrynet.com generally sells things at 20% less than Australian retail prices, they give you free shipping and even gift wrap your purchases. In addition, they have been highly rated and may even be the biggest online retailer in the world. But, they don't give samples!

They also have a loyalty scheme in place. Ah Beng and his sister has finally reached the maximum level and can get 15% off but now, stupid Naomi Robson from TT had to ruin everything.

After some deep consideration, Ah Beng has decided to continue buying things from Strawberrynet.com. Ah Beng can only base this on his past experiences, which have been good.

Plus, Dermalogica isn't all that great. They make good skin cleaning products, but their toners and moisturisers ain't that special.

Perhaps, if you want to buy from a trusted online retailer, try betterskin.com.au. In fact, betterskin.com.au took the opportunity to earn some brownie points by emailing this out to everyone on their mailing list.

Good thing about betterskin.com.au? They give samples. Ah Beng has been there for facials and they have drawers full of samples. Ah Beng was tempted to reach in and grab a handful.

Ah Beng thinks the whole story was a big ploy by Australian retailers, who have seen their sales shrinking and have arranged for the report to be shown to scare everyone into buying from them. Ah Beng will not fall victim to this evil smear campaign!
